It takes for it 6 to 8 years to mature, a cultivated plant, not a wild one, which allows for it to make better use of its sugars needed for the elaboration of Mezcal. Espadín is one of the most sought after Mezcal by the consumers due to its versatility to drink it straight or in a cocktail of your choosing.
