I had initially aimed to purchase Clande Sotol (red label) after tasting it at a mezcaleria, and fell in love with sotol. The red label kind wasn’t in stock, so I took a chance on this variety of Clande Sotol and it did not disappoint! Beautiful smoky flavor, with a smooth finish, and not earthy, like desert-variety sotols. This is definitely a winner!
