Juerte Destilado de Pulque is a distilled from agave, but from pulque which is an ancient naturally alcoholic drink made by fermenting the agave sap.
This pulque distillate uses agave salmiana grown in the eastern Mexico state of Tlaxcala, which is renown for its pulque.
