Description
Nixta Licor de Elote is a one-of-a-kind Mexican ancestral corn liqueur used as a modifier. Smooth, silky textured and nuanced, Nixta is the purest form of Destilería Abasolo’s ancestral corn distillation with a nose of roasted corn, the sweet and creamy texture of atole, and a finish of roasted nuts and dried fruit. Serve neat, on the rocks, or as a distinctive cocktail modifier.

Five stars because I’m not sure what its supposed to taste like. I read about this in The Week magazine – highly recommended Mayan liquor . Can be added to something or sipped on alone. It is way too sweet for me to sip on alone – my honey said it tasted like Kettle Corn popcorn. A caramel taste hits your palette and is followed by the roasted corn. I can see adding it to something – a tequila maybe – vodka .
Beautiful bottle . Fun to have.
