Not your standard Reposado. Don Lorenzo is a blend of 65% (American oak) and 35% extra Anejo (French oak) autoclave slow cooked and copper pot distilled. I have tried the original vintage and it was excellent and this latest vintage (paper label) is every bit as good.
Wonderful deep golden color in a classic hand blown bottle. The blend picks up the best of both the Reposado and extra Anejo. A traditional tasting tequila that doesn’t hide the agave and has a very nice pepper finish. A fantastic tequila!

Had a bottle of this 2 years ago, it instantly became THE BEST STANDARD REPOSADO I have had. Then they stopped selling it… Was extremely excited when I went to make a purchase last month and this was back on the market.. You want Reposado’s to have a “kick”, and this does, but a kick to wake you up, not knock you out…For the price, I think this is the best basic reposado on the marked, straight up… and yes, you will agree after your first shot of it….

I learned of this tequila in San Diego at Cantina Mayual…I loved the tequila & the original etched bottle & wish I could find a few more. The finish on this fine tequila is one of the best around … 65% reposado & 35% extra anejo! I continue to order not only for me but give to my close friends to enjoy!
