If you remember the Deleon Anejo that has been off the market for years you will be disappointed in this version. Not the same flavor profile as befor. Tried the “old” vs “new” side by side. New one is sweeteer, lighter colored, lighter body and not as complex as old. Over 3 years ago I paid $150 for old, so @$50 this is a good buy

Love the toasted oak flavor. Also, the dark color caramel amber look and flavor notes.

We have tried over 100 different tequilas in the last 3 years. Some much more expensive and some cheaper. So far, this is the best we have tried for the money. We’ve had some really good $200 bottles and some terrible $200 bottles. The Deleon Anejo is the one we use to compare to others. Not many have beaten it for the $$$

For the price, it’s hard to beat. Wasn’t a fan of the respasado….
